Cookie Policy
Effective as of April 20, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Crealix AI ("Crealix") uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small values stored in your browser when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this Policy.
2. Cookies We Set
All cookies we set are strictly necessary to run the Services — we do not currently run third-party analytics, advertising, or behavioral tracking.
- Session cookie: stores the encrypted token that keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in with email or Google.
- Locale cookie: remembers the language you selected (English or Spanish) so every page loads in the right language.
- Pending plan cookie: temporarily stores the plan you selected before checkout so we can resume the Stripe flow after authentication.
- Sidebar state cookie: remembers whether the app sidebar is open or collapsed. Expires after 7 days.
3. Third-Party Cookies
A few third parties set their own cookies on specific pages to keep the Services working:
- Stripe: sets session and fraud-prevention cookies on billing pages and checkout.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: sets short-lived verification tokens on sign-up, sign-in, password reset, and contact forms to block automated abuse.
- Google Sign-In: when you choose the Google login option, Google sets its own session cookies on its domain.
These providers operate under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control.
4. How to Manage Cookies
Most browsers let you clear cookies and block future cookies by site. Because the cookies listed above are strictly necessary, disabling them will break sign-in, billing, or language selection.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect new technologies, providers, or regulatory requirements. When we do, we will update the "Effective as of" date above.
Affiliate attribution cookie
When a visitor lands on Crealix via a creator's affiliate link (a URL that includes a `?ref=` parameter), we set a single first-party cookie to remember which creator referred them. This cookie is HttpOnly and signed; it cannot be read by client-side JavaScript and is only used by our servers to credit the right affiliate when the visitor signs up.
Cookie name and lifetime
The cookie is named `crealix-ref`. It expires 90 days after it is last set. If a visitor clicks a different creator's link before signing up, the new code overwrites the old one (last-touch attribution).
Your choices
You can clear this cookie at any time from your browser's privacy controls. Doing so simply means we cannot retroactively credit a creator for a sign-up. The cookie is not used for advertising, profiling, or any third-party tracking — it never leaves Crealix's servers.
